The meet was run in 40 degree temperatures with a steady north wind that actually helped runners down the home stretch. My thing is I wanted everyone to compete as hard as they can. We had a lot of young kids who have never competed in a varsity meet. “We have a real young team this year, but I’m excited about what I saw today,” Remsberg said. The Bishop Carroll boys won the team title with 205 points, followed by Buhler at 125, Newton at 113, Hutchinson at 91 and Wichita North at 21.Ĭarroll took the girls’ title by a narrow margin over Buhler 155-146.
